Ingredients for almond soup recipe:

  • 2.5 cups of milk
  • 150 g shelled almonds
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon grated nutmeg
  • 4 cups of broth
  • 1 teaspoon of salt

How to make almond soup ?

Roast the almonds in butter until the color turns pink. Separate some roasted almonds for use in service. Add flour into remaining almonds and roast again. When the color of the flour changes, add milk and gravy and continue to cook. When it starts to boil, add a little nutmeg and salt to sweeten. Sprinkle almonds from the stove over the soup and serve.
